FIRST DRIVE: 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe - fun on a budget!

OVER 300 HORSEPOWER. Wow! Hyundai took the path of the literal meaning of the word Genesis when they carved the Sport Coupe from clay. How lucky we are they decided to build it.

This is likely the best power-to-weight ratio per dollar than any other sports coupe in the world. Pumping out 306-horsepower to the rear wheels in classic style, the Coupe never stops delivering a thrilling driving experience. Inside, there's not an inch to spare but even so, it's comfortable enough for both touring and sport driving.

Top rival is the Mitsubishi Eclipse GT, which costs a bit more. Genesis Coupe pricing starts at $22,000 and gets up to 30-mpg in base trim. The bigger engine and other options still deliver an impressive 27-mpg. Lots of power for the money, a real hoot to drive.
