Fiat 500 (Road test - 1.3 16v Multijet Lounge)
The idea of retro modern cars isn't new. VW's Beetle and, more notably, BMW's MINI have resurrected iconic nameplates for the contemporary market. Given their success it was to be expected that others would follow and few have such an emotive back catalogue as Fiat has. The 500 is the car chosen to recreate and a fine thing it is too. [more]

If we had our way, the new 4.7-litre V8 found under the bonnet of the GranTurismo S would be standard fit on all cars. Maserati has fitted it to the new-look Quattroporte S. Which is a start. Watch out for the road test, coming soon on this page.
